NEET SS 2020 Counselling Update

New Delhi: Through a recent notice, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has informed about the addition of 2 MCh seats into the seat matrix for NEET SS 2020 counselling Round 1 session.

One MCh seat in the speciality of Neurosurgery has been added from the BJ Medical College while one seat in MCh Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery has been added from NKP Salve Institute of Medical Sciences, Nagpur.

It is for the information to all candidates participating in NEET Super Speciality Counselling 2020 that the following seats of DM/ M.Ch have been added in the seat matrix of Round-1 of Super Speciality Counselling 2020 as per the request of college authorities. The candidates can now fill in the choices for newly added seats.

    M.CH. Neuro Surgery - 01 seat
  • NKP Salve Institute of Medical Sciences, Nagpur
    M.CH. Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery - 01 seat

Note: For ensuring faithful obedience of time schedule and also keeping in view the limited time available for conducting of counselling, all participating institutes/colleges are directed to treat all Saturday, Sunday & Holidays as working days.

NEET-SS 2020 was conducted on 15th September 2020. NEET-SS is an eligibility-cum-ranking examination prescribed as the single entrance examination for admission to various DM/MCh courses as per the Indian Medical Council (Amendment) Act, 2016. No other entrance examination, either at the state or the Institution level, shall be valid for entry to DM/MCh courses as per the Indian Medical Council (Amendment) Act, 2016 w.e.f. 2017 admission session. Qualifying NEET-SS is mandatory for entry to DM/MCh courses under various Universities/ Institutions in the country.
