New Delhi- The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) has released a notice informing about the addition and withdrawal of seats from the seat matrix of the Special Round of Stray Vacancy Round of SS Counseling 2023.
The notice said that the Medical Counseling Committee has received information from some institutions regarding the addition/withdrawal of seats from the seat matrix of the Special Round of Stray Vacancy Round of SS Counseling 2023 due to certain reasons. Therefore, the MCC of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) has added/withdrawn some PG seats from the seat matrix of the Stray Vacancy Round.

As per the list, a total of 1 seat has been added in 6 institutes and 4 seats have been added in 1 institute out of the total 6 institutes. The list details each institute's name, Institute code, program/program code, seat, and the reasons behind adding seats. A total of 9 seats have been added in 7 courses.
The institutions where seats have been added are mentioned below-
1 Stanley Medical College, Chennai.
2 Govt. Kilpauk Medical College.
3 Madras Medical College, Chennai.
4 Madurai Medical College, Madurai.
5 Tirunelveli Medical College, Tirunelveli.
6 Vardhman Mahavir Medical College & SJH, Ansari Nagar, Ring Road, New Delhi.

It is noted that “The above seats have been added to the seat matrix of Special Round of SS Counselling 2023. Hence, candidates can exercise choices for the same now”.
On the other hand, 2 seats have been withdrawn from 2 Institutes and 1 seat from 1 Institute out of a total of 3, resulting in a total of 5 withdrawn seats in 3 courses in the seat matrix of Special Round of SS Counseling 2023. The list includes the name of the institute, institute code, programme/programme code, quota, seats (category wise) and reason for withdrawal of seats.
